( we'll take control of the world ) like it's all we have to hold on to
[/center] It looked like a bomb filled in athletic equipment exploded around the young man currently sitting on a bench muscles straining as he lifted weights above his chest. Water bottled riddled the floor around him, the metal circular weighs resting beside (and sometimes on top of) those. A towel was draped over the chair on his right side and a bag rest in the seat of that same chair, gaping open to show the spines of some books and the half-hidden pink doughnut box of the store that he had visited moments before coming here. Even a man searching for meditation has to have some sort of fuel. At least, that was the excuse he told himself as he had hauled the duffel bag stuffed with doughnuts and sweet water into the gym. Now, he rest his back against the blue cushion of the bench press, red eyes focused on the ceiling as his arms hefted the large barbell in front of him up and down across his chest. He was shirtless, finding it easier to relax when he was more free from the restrictions of his clothing, and had gray sweatpants that slung low on his rather slim hips. The repetitive motion of his arms was putting the young man into a trance, his red eyes starting to droop slightly. He couldn't fall asleep doing this, but he was feeling slightly drowsy. It made him feel better, to do this. To work this hard. It wasn't necessarily about fitness to him, he was fit enough already, but it was more about relaxing his mind. The repetitive motion made his mind slow down and work at a pace that wouldn't allow him to think of anything else. It was like sleeping with only your hind brain awake. That is, until someone disturbs your concentration. When the door opened to the school's work-out room, his meditation was broken. All of things that he had been keeping out of his mind came rushing back and a scowl appeared on his face again, masking the small smile that he had adopted from when he had entered his trance state. He shoved the bar up onto its stand and sat up, grabbing the towel that hung on the chair. He slid the soft cloth over his face, wiping the sweat from it and then from his arms and chest before draping it over his shoulders. He was tired now that he realized it. He would probably continue working out until he was exhausted though, so he wasn't about to leave. He grabbed a sweet water and a doughnut before turning to the person who had entered. Great. He was so excited to see the little pink haired girl. Note the sarcasm. " Hello Adora." He made a small face as he bit into the tiny powdered doughnut and thanked the gods who had created such a fine delicacy over and over again in his head. notes well, this'll be fun. >] music money maker by ludacris muse 50%

evacuate the dance floorI'M INFECTED BY THE SOUND The young girl hurried down the hallways of the school with a wide smile on her face. She was moving at a quick pace, her little legs working to get her to the weight room of the gym. Why was she hurrying to a place that she would probably get hurt in because of her abnormally small size? There was only one reason: Dee-Dee. Also known as Dessy to her. People that didn’t have a rather difficult time remembering names would know him as Deserae. Or that albino kid. But not Adora. He was Dee-Dee.
The little pink ball of energy ignored all the stares from the remaining students of the school. She certainly was an odd site to see. Her small stature and bright hair usually caught her enough attention and gawking eyes. But this sight was just something else. The little girl was clad in a bright pink leotard that had a glittery white heart on the back. However, that wasn’t all. Along with the leotard, she wore pastel pink tights, white tennis shoes, white wristbands and a white sweatband hugged her head. She was ready to work out and after hearing Dee-Dee was in the gym, she wasn’t going to miss her chance to try out her new outfit.
She had been wanting to work out with Dee-Dee ever since she found out that he, well, worked out. Because she was so small and child-like no one would allow her to use the weights in the weight room without supervision and no one really wanted to watch her. But, now, Dee-Dee wouldn’t have a choice. Dee-Dee wouldn’t leave just be she showed up, now, would he? Of course not! He adored Adora just like everyone else did. And he was going to love her even more after he found out that she had gotten him a matching work out uniform. A sweet giggle bubbled up from her as she turned a sharp corner, dragging her bag along side her. He was going to be so happy to see her! She just knew it!
With a single lunge, she burst through the doors of the weight room. She stumbled a little, pausing as a scented wall of sweat smacked her in the face. For a split second, her face contorted into disgust but it popped into an ecstatic smile and enthusiastic wave when her large, childish eyes fell on the white-haired Dee-Dee. Life sparked into her eyes like a wild fire and she ran forward, literally throwing herself at him in a fly-tackle-hug as she squealed: “Dee-Dee~!!! Hehehe! How are you, Dee-Dee? Oh! Looky, looky, looky~!” She giggled as she backed away from him, letting her bag drop to the ground as she spread her arms out and spun in a circle a few times, showing off her little outfit. She really thought it was snazzy~!
With another giggle that rang like a bell, she stopped and kneeled down, unzipping her bag and pulling out the matching outfit that was meant for Dee-Dee. “I got you one, too, Dee-Dee!! Now we can be workout buddies~!” Her smile only grew wider as she craned her head back to look up at him. Her wide eyes shined with absolute joy and epic happiness and glittered with the innocence and sincerity that seemed impossible to rid her of.
Though, that expression didn’t last too long, either. Just as quick as she was, her eyes snapped to the powdered doughnut in his hand. She stared at it for a moment as if that was the answer to the universe. The smile slowly faded from her lips and was replaced when her lips curved into a small ‘o’ that looked as if she was in awe of such a simple snack. Dee-Dee should expect what was about to come.
“I want one~! Please?”
