INFECTION LEVELS REACH ALL TIME HIGH
The Holloway Strain is infecting more people in 2016 than it ever has in previous years. This is not meant to scare you, nor is it a fabricated lie. It is real and it is here. First, it starts out as a simple, low grade fever, accompanied by a few muscle aches here and there. That is on the first day, the day when the Virus is burrowing its way into your blood cells and soft tissue. Even though the Strain has been mingling within the human population since 2010, you lie to yourself anyway and think: "Oh, it's just the flu. It will pass soon."[/size]
Sure, it'll pass soon. Or so you've tricked yourself into thinking. Only, when your fever does not go away and your muscle aches intensify to the point where simply moving sends shockwaves through your body, you know that it is the second day. You know that, from your arms and legs, all the way down into the marrow of your bones, that this is the second day. More commonly known as The Shutdown, by doctors and CDC workers. The virus pours itself into every part of your body. Your liver, your kidneys, you muscles, even your brain. Blood cells become bloated with the Strain's unique RNA patterns, and from there, they are transformed into blocks of virus.
You get sicker and sicker and sicker. Your fever spikes to 108 degrees Fahrenheit, a temperature that could easily fry your brain if not managed.Too bad the Strain gets to it first. Your sanity is the first to go as hallucinations plague your thoughts and every flicker of your eyes. All the while, the virus builds and builds and builds. Infects, infects, infects. Destroys, destroys, destroys. Until there is nothing left of you but a sack of pulply flesh and liquefied organs. The third day is upon you, The Blackout. Once that sun peeks over the horizon, marking the dawn of a new morning, you will be dead in a matter of hours.
